How to Get an Agreed Texas Divorce

Step 1:

Select the appropriate Divorce Option, then fill out the information form and click on "Submit." You might want to print out the questionnaire first to help you assemble the information.

Step 2:

I will acknowledge receipt of your questionnaire by email, usually the same day you submit it. I will also send you an invoice for the divorce option you have chosen, together with instructions on how to pay by PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, I will email you an address where you can mail a check instead.

Step 3:

I will review your information, usually within 24 hours, and ask you any follow-up questions. I will also prepare the divorce forms necessary for the divorce option you picked and prepare detailed instructions on what to do with them and what to do for the "prove up."

Step 4:

If any of the information you have given me changes during the 60-day waiting period for a divorce, I will revise your documents to reflect the changes at no additional charge.

Step 5:

Following my instructions, you will "prove up" your divorce. If you prefer that I accompany you for your "prove up," I will do that for an additional fee. If you are outside the Dallas area, I can help you to find a local lawyer for your "prove up."
